“Whatever is causing you pain is real and in some way, untenable to you. That is where we begin - not with someone else’s story. With yours.”

— Audrey Stephenson, Psychotherapist & Coach

PSYCHOTHERAPIST & COACH IN LONDON AND BATH

Audrey Stephenson is a Therapist, Trainer and Coach with over 15 years of experience. Raised on Long Island, living in Somerset and working in London and Bath, Audrey has a solid foundation in working in diversity, change and overwhelm.

Trauma, identity and challenges in relating to conflicts between our inner and outer worlds are common issues in her practice. Audrey is well versed at working with both individuals and couples with relationship issues.

Audrey has developed a unique approach to Psychotherapy combining talking therapy with more dynamic mind body therapy where appropriate.

“I’m conscious that all my training, the theory, the methodology, becomes the chair that I sit in. It supports and holds me but to my clients, it’s just a part of the furniture. My training holds me so I can create the space, understanding, and expertise to hold my clients well. I strive to let it all go, and be present to the pain, suffering, desire, and dreams of the person sitting across from me. Eventually, my clients learn to do that for themselves. Their therapy and their lives become a triumph over their past.

"My interest in why we do what we do, and how we can be in a way that makes us feel peace, excitement and connection to ourselves and others, has been the golden thread that is woven through all of my work.”

“My experience with Audrey is hard to put into words. It is the best thing I have ever done for my mental health and I cannot recommend her enough. Audrey has helped me through a very dark time in my life, but I have learnt so many lessons in which she’s helped me understand. I have come out the other side and she helped me achieve that.”
